08.2011 – 01.2013      ST-Ericsson AT GmbH, Software Design Engineer – LTE Physical layer verification
  • Analysing the requirements and writing LTE test specification based on 3GPP standards and internal specifications,
  • Implementing the tests cases in a test bench involving Rhode and Schwarz test equipment, in particular SMU 200A and CMW 500 using C/C++, Perl and SCPI
  • Executing tests, filing error reports and following the errors until resolution,

07.2010 – 07.2011        Jacobs University Bremen, Postdoctoral fellow

                              Investigated network layer and physical layer algorithms for an OFDM-based data transmission system using light-emitting diodes and photodiode. The project
                              was a joint collaboration with a consortium of several partners. The responsibilities included
  • Designing physical layer algorithms implemented on a FPGA-based prototype,
  • Simulating the complete data transmission chain for the optical OFDM system as a reference design,
  • Writing project report and participating in project meetings.

Participated in a research collaboration with DOCOMO Eurolabs where the responsibilities included

  •  Developing a system-level simulator for investigating interference management in decentralized and heterogeneous OFDMA-based networks,
  • Investigating interference management in heterogeneous OFDMA-based wireless networks,
  • Disseminating research outcome through publications in journals and conferences proceedings, and 
  • Writing project reports and participating in project meetings with the industrial partner on a regular basis.

06.2004 – 08.2004       Netherlands Foundation for Research in Astronomy, Dwingeloo, Summer student (Internship), Prepared the radio telescope images of the sky using Python as a part of testing and calibration of the prototype test station of the LOFAR radio telescope.
